Megasurv was established in 1996 with main objective to undertake and provide the highest quality services in the field of marine & cargo survey, in addition to consultation in the field of ship construction & naval architecture.

The founder of Megasurv Eng. Taha Mohamed, has B.Sc. in marine engineering & naval architecture from Alexandria University (1973) crowned with experience of (27 years) of sea service on board general cargo , bulk carriers ,containers , oil tankers and RO-RO vessels in addition of being a non-exclusive surveyor for DNV classification society and General Manager of UNIMAS shipping management company for Oil Tankers.

Megasurv is approved by the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority, by IICL Institute of International Container Lessors USA

Megasurv is approved as well by SDT Sherlog, Belgium to conduct Ultrasonic Tightness Testing of vessels’ hatch covers.

Our team of Surveyors who have different backgrounds and skills in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and cargo transport fields are ready to provide our clients with affordable 1st class services around the clock.

Megasurv is recognized by many P&I Clubs such as West OF England, North OF England, UK Club, British Marine Mutual, London Steamship & American Club through their correspondents in Egypt, as well as many of the international hull and machinery underwriters.

Megasurv provides surveying services to many shipping companies directly or through their agents in all Egyptian ports.
